And here for the latex...er, latest, in Chinese hair styles...

Last year Chinese hair salons caused a stir by unlawfully recycling used condoms, possibly donated by local nightclubs, into hair ties. (J. Rice and A. Fields, Discover, May, 2008) Of course it would have been different had they been lawfully recycled... Sign in to see full entry.
