Break out the anti-stress meds!
As I was typing an entry in one of my other blogs - I think it was From Death Into Life, but I'm not sure - our landlord called. (I was so busy typing when he called that I didn't answer the phone, so he left a message.) As Garfield said in her blog today, I was so upset by this turn of events that the only parts of his voice mail message which "registered" in my brain were his name, the sentence "I got your letter," and his cellphone number.
