Grade Inflation Part II

Colleges are really up in arms about grade inflation, but I feel they are missing the boat. First of all they look at the grades being higher and automatically assume that teachers are grading easy and/or the class is not difficult. Grade Inflation Part I

Grade inflation is something that a lot of colleges are dealing with. I know that in Loyola’s case they want the average GPA to be around 2.8 as opposed to the 3.3 it is right now. Unrealistic Expectations

Society expects a lot from teachers, perhaps maybe too much. I know my Methods of Social Studies teacher at college would often bring up people now expect schools to raise children.
