Starting Later...A Bad Idea...For Now

There is a fast growing movement for Maryland Public Schools to start the day after Labor Day. Maryland Public Schools used to start the day after Labor Day until the middle 1990s, when the start date was moved up a week for reasons I do not know. Elevator Plane

My sister Ann is afraid of elevators. She is claustrophobic and fears elevators getting stuck or falling. She will not go on them.
