It was as good as we hoped

For those of you who read my last post, you'll remember that the boys and I were travelling to Colchester yesterday to see our soccer team - Leeds United - play. A good 24 hours

Thanks for everyone who commented on yesterday's post. The concert at Ivan's school was really enjoyable. He played bass guitar in two pieces and cymbals and the triangle in another! If music be the food of love...

then Leona Lewis has failed me. I had her plugged into my ears on the train this morning but fell asleep. Nothing against Leona whose music I really enjoy and thought she was a worthy X Factor winner, but sleep was a more demanding lover. Had a nice evening watching England beat Ukraine in the World... Edgy but not on the edge

After that demotivating Monday the week didn't really get much worse. How to cry with statistics

I spent much of last Thursday preparing some statistics for our various websites, complete with charts and commentary etc. The reaction in today's 'management meeting' was, as usual, negative.
