instant mashed Potatoes
Are almost as good as made from scratch ones. Do use milk and butter. Mashed potatoes can also be used in recipes. My absolute favorite is shepherd's pie. Top Ramen
is a very popular emergency food for both children and adults. Combined with cilantro, green onions and fresh ginger, it dosn't taste too bad. Because it is a hot soup, most people including me, don't overeat it. So it could probably make a good diet food.

What do you do with cabbage?
Stuffed cabbage leaves take a lot of time and don't use much cabbage. Cabbage soup is good but this it the wrong time of year. I think I'll make cole slaw.
