Flames fanned by wild wind, Heat focussed, Roar, a seering scream that echoes along mountain ridges Of crackling trees and embers Soar, twisting to alight eating into families' dreams with their fiery embraces. In the wake of their dance, mangled cars litter deadly tracks, Their molten rims trace Apocalyptic patterns in the ash. A burnt mother lies Under a blanket, Her unborn child's first cry, consumed by fire, never uttered. Faces hollowed by losses too deep to describe, Are followed by tribes...
