For those who do celebrate the NY with the Gregorian Calender I say this
The Fireworks in most countries that celebrate have gone overboard. I am not trying to be a spoilsport but goodness me, half an hour of fireworks could feed a few Ghanian villages for a year on meat and rice and food staples. And I thought Mexico was a poor country? These displays for me, while beautiful in themselves are signs of a decadent society that cares more about entertainment than people living within. There will be major changes in the future.
