IPF and me

I returned from my doctor's appointment a short while ago with a sore arm and overwhelmed mind. Flu shot season is here and according to my doctor, it's going to be a really bad year for respiratory viruses/infections, especially for us "lungers." Awakenings

Caught a bad cold late December; with a serious lung disease I should have called my doctor immediately. Instead I foolishly thought I could treat it myself....Long story short; a nasty bacterial infection set up shop in both lungs and I ended up on life support Jan. 1st.
