Just catching up. I have not heard of this before. Thank you for sharing as I try to understand what is going on. My thoughts are with you, Katray. As for the flu shot. I never get them. Just laziness I guess. Oh, and those big needles. lol

So sorry to hear about your mom, Annicita. I know those gaspy walks well..I was diagnosed with multiple breathing tests, chest x rays, ct scans and other lab tests. They talked about doing a lung biopsy but so far, haven't had to do that. At first they thought it was my childhood asthma rearing back up but the shortness of breath "attacks" I had didn't respond to asthma meds and improve; just got worse and worse and stayed that way. I am using inhalers that help some and I do breathing treatments at home.
I hope they find out what is going on with your mom asap. Like the Am. Lung Assoc. says: when you can't breathe, nothing else matters.

I wonder if that is what my mom has. She has been in the hospital repeatedly and according to them there is no reason. They can't seem to find what is causing her shortness of breath. She is gasping from just walking from her bedroom to the kitchen.
Oh dear! I know what she is going through. I do hope things improve for you
