I am not speaking of the recreational kind. But the doctor gave me a whole slew of them, and I don't like them. Hubby swears by what the doctor prescribes and diligently adhers to the instructions. I agree that the rules should be followed in taking them, if you must, especially when it comes to the... Sign in to see full entry.

Cough, Sniff, Sniff
Thank you for all of your comments! Well I have been away all too long, but have been busy! Thankfully, no earthquake has got us yet, (you'd have heard about it I'm sure) nor have I been too ill to blog, only too tired. My cold was still causing me pain, so I finally went in to the nose, ear and... Sign in to see full entry.

The Bubbles in the Floor
The work man is here tearing out the floor and replacing it as there was a big bubble in the flooring. There are two other smaller bubbles in other areas of the house in the flooring, which they are going to bore a tiny hole into the floor and squeeze glue into and put something heavy on till it... Interlude
I have a head cold, and am feeling groggy, like my body is fighting the best it can. The interlude I am refering to is for my storytime blog. I am in the midst of posting my second novel but will take a break to post my most recent short story. I think it is very dificult to hold the attention of... Sign in to see full entry.

Marathons and Computers
I feel like it has been ages since I 'talked' to you all. My Dad is fine, still on oxygen, but at home. I talked to my Mom and everything is fine, they get their groceries delivered and the pharmacy also delivers. Thanks for the comments! BC-A, your comment made me laugh and put it all into... My Boy, my Dad, and Valentines
My boy got fitted for his Jr. High uniform yesterday, and it brought tears to my eyes. He is so little and the uniform pretty well swallowed him up even though it was the smallest size. He will have a growth spurt in a couple pf years as that is how it was with his Dad, but I had to fight to control... Sign in to see full entry.

Cooking Therapy
I haven't posted in four days! I have been busy writing, and I actually finished a story! Now my goal for this week is to finish the other story so that I can take both new ones into my editor next weekend. She's a dear friend and is making me dinner too! We read each others stuff but lately it has... Sign in to see full entry.

What are they doing?
I looked out the window and this is what I saw! The tower goes all the way to the ground and these three guys are climbing all over it. Now at this moment they are gathered at the top and the crane is facing away from them. I wonder what they are doing? Looks like they are having a meeting, funny... Sign in to see full entry.

Flying and other modes of transport
When I was a kid, I loved flying. It was so exciting! Way beck then, commercial flying was not like riding the bus the way it is now. We only did it every three to four years to 'go home on furlough' (My Dad wasn't in the military either) It was in their contract that we would take furloughs every... Sign in to see full entry.

Sunset
The clouds, and the setting sun shinning on the buildings makes this kinda neat. The ocean looks sooooo blue, even from this far away! Thank you all very much for all your nice comments! I worked in the office till Hubby got home this morning. He took an overnight fllight from Bangkok leaving at... Sign in to see full entry.
