EXAMINE IT AND THEM FROM ALL ANGLES

When I was a little girl I wanted all things to have a happy ending. They didn't and I not only was disappointed, I was sure it was the fault of whomever I blamed. That was simply the understanding of a child. Today I wonder if we are still using those tactics in our political life and understanding. We want things to be right, good, peaceful, prosperous, and the best roads, schools, and factories in my area for my people. We want the budget balanced and we complain every time the US does not... ONCE UPON A TIME

Oh you wouldn't remember, it was a long time ago. To be exact it was June 25, 1950. No that was not before man came out of trees. But it was a time when we had a decisive Fifteen Member United Nations. There was a place called the 38th parallel and North of that line were the Communists. WHAT'S NEWS? DO WE NEED IT OR WILL PROPAGANDA SUFFICE?

I have been looking for a particular news story that I got wind of early today. Didn't find it. In so doing I did find a lot of stuff. I found several different slants on the war in Iraq. The Dow hit 12,000! We lost 17 Trillion Dollars in the 9/11 tragedy, it has been regained. Unemployment is the lowest in years. Taxes were cut and still all is rosy on the financial front. 401Ks are in solid shape. We still have poor. Jesus said, "The poor you will always have with you." Despite the fact that... I see all this stuff that is being pulled up out of the mire and exposed right now just before election. It should be exposed. You see it should have been exposed when it happened. Bill Clinton should have been exposed and made to resign when he was shown to have had a string of women in the Governor's office right on through to the White House. Why? SURELY SOMEONE KNOWS THE ANSWER

I have told you often that I live in a small town. We have been far too complacent for too long about life in small towns. Our county is made up of these tiny towns. Our town is the county seat, so all the trials and news of such is held here. I saw in our paper that one of our Judges here said he gave the maximum sentence allowed by our state, for the most disgusting, and in his opinion the worst crime in any case he had ever tried.
