WHAT ELSE COULD HAPPEN

When things look bleak on all sides we often ask ourselves. 'What else could possibly happen?' Is that looking at the glass half full or half empty? I don't know that answer either. Many things are totally amiss right now I must find only one, or at least a few to concentrate on in a positive way. I cannot change the world, my country, my state, my city or my neighborhood. THIS INFORMATION IS NOT REALLY GORY

In 1970 my two sons were 10 and 15. No brothers could have been more different and closer. The fifteen year old was a poet, artist, musician, hunter and fisherman. The 10 year old would not step on a fly, he was like a sage walking around in a little boy body. He wanted to know the history of music and what people played what music. IS WHAT YOU HEAR WHAT YOU KNOW

I try to listen to all news to some degree. But it is difficult to listen to two who pretty much line up and another that is so totally in left field. When you are listening to a lie and you know it is makes little difference where you saw it. Yesterday I saw the same clips on different news programs and the same lie rang out in all of them. CORRECT USED TO BE RIGHT, GOOD AND INSPIRING, SO?

I have watched the declines in our country being made into the likeness of a water slide. Going down faster and faster until you reach a bottom that has been drained except for that water on the slide and the drain is open under it. Nothing left but wet concrete. I am seeing a left group that will not dialog with others. It truly is their opinion or no opinion. I saw a couple of examples of this today. DO YOU SWEAR TO TELL THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH SO HELP YOU GOD?

Oh I guess you already noticed I left out 'nothing but the truth' but where can you find any of this today? If I am sitting with a group of people who are expressing their opinions about anything I expect to hear a wide and perhaps wild description of an issue I thought differently about. They may or may not persuade me to change my mind, but truth and hard evidence are hard to find. It is supposed to be found in the NEWS!
