RSM
Thank you so very much. I am disappointed but despair I have to give the Lord only He can change this stuff going on now. It is certainly Biblical that unnatural affections with others of our own kind is so wrong. Thank you for writing.

Thank you so much for the kind words. Yes people are too combative; however, it appears each wants to hold firmly to the answers they want. When that gets mixed with lies,  selfishness and greed for power we lose on all sides. Thank for your comment.

:LPeople pay attention to issues by pointing out other people. They confront and embarrass them. Speaking can happen on a one on one level. Miss USA could have shared with the other contestants there privately and likewise. I find alright understanding of people different from ourselves in this way. Behavior from love fits the etiquette of political correctness. BCA, Bill*s RJJST

I liked the observation of a woman asking a question and not listening or caring about the answer. It happens everywhere, all the time, the art of communication is rare; it takes consideration, respect, love. Everyone always trying to get their say, quick, before the other person. I think it's why I like blogs, it's a public conversation and everyone gets their say. Blog on~

Your Words!

Your words, the way you write convey your inner feelings so well that I feel like I am talking with you when I read them. I can feel your despair, your disappointment of all that is going on in our nation. I can not agree with you more.

The whole Miss USA thing displayed what we have arrived to in this nation. Can you imagine such a worthless motive and treatment from a gay supporting liberal than that was?  My thoughts go to the fact that all of this comes from a person who desires sex in an unnatural way, with the same sex, a mentally sick way of life, that's it, that is all it is! You can not convince me otherwise.

Thanks again for yet another excellent post!

You are right, as usual; free speech does not have to mean rude speech nor

should it.  People these days are so combative and also seem to feel so entitled.  So selfish.  So greedy.  Like you, I miss the days when people could air their views politely without brawling.  Even my 13-15 year-old students have difficulty with this task these days because they have been raised to feel entitled to express their opinions, even in rude ways.  You would be shocked. . .or maybe you've heard it all in your ministry.

She did what America has always been known for: Used her right to free speech in a in a calm and kind manner, telling the truth about her own feelings, not others. The judge that asked the question is a gay man and wrote vicious and threatening things about her on a blog. Thanks for the comment. She is in the right. Had it not been for him and his own prejudices this would have gone unnoticed.

I had a conversation last night about the Ms America thing. She did not think about what was politically correct, she did not bash anyone, she spoke from her moral heart. One of the judges, whom I am sure is gay said that he did not hold that against her.........RIGHT!!

Re:
If people would come to some sane composure about issues and work out what is best for the country as a whole it would be awesome, it isn't happening. May the Lord come quickly!

I saw that and thought this person has a rant totally as bad as those on the other side that are so caustic. I was sorry she felt that way. She is one who gives us in the South a bad name about racism. It is hard to get our Nation clean when our people can't get clean. Love you and Kabu!

Re: Nite Tide
Thank you for the comment. I am sorry all this has come into our lives. We were the only totally free nation on earth, no longer.

I agree with you! Gays are 3% of the population but the political power they wield is not commensurate. We, the people, are having tea parties...the mainstream media is talking about the left, the right and Republicans to confuse the issue. Its about the bailouts (increased taxes to pay for it) and states upping taxes and cutting social programs. The people have a problem with the administration.

I posted just such ugliness in my blog tonight that I had received from a 'friend' in the south. You write about it all well and I always viewed America as a moral country and was as shocked as you will be at what I received......

Um...I admire your words about freedom of speech, morals, and speaking politically correct...yet I get a sense of so much frustration and angst in your words that I'm a bit heartbroken.  I guess your words just hit me with a good dose of reality - when I like to live in my own world where everyone is polite.    Thought provoking.
