Ready for the Test?

"Temptation is always a testing; it is not meant to make a man (woman) fall; it is meant to test him (her) and to try him (her), so that out of the testing situation he (she) will emerge stronger and finer and purer, like a metal that is tested and tried in the fire." Memorial Day Remembrances

While doing genealogy, I discovered my father received the Purple Heart. I wrote this poem (although I don't claim to be a poet) to honor my dad. Hope you all enjoy. God bless and, of course, God bless America. Because He was There It seems so strange to remember this day The reasons he fought for... Sign in to see full entry.
