The Indian Laburnum or Amaltas
It’s that time of the year. Amongst the many beautiful and majestic flowering trees in May is my outmost favourite - Golden Shower Tree or the Indian laburnum. It’s Latin name is Cassia fistula and it's Hindi name is Amaltas. It's bright yellow flowers just take my breath away and lift my spirits.... Sign in to see full entry.
