The Mountain is Out!
We used to say that any time Mt Rainier was visible from around the Puget Sound region. Today, it's Pike's Peak, so clear you can see the details of rock formations above tree line! Today, no smoke like that which has obscured the Front Range and Pike's Peak these last several days. This is especially nice because today I am driving up the the airport outside Denver to pick up my Seattle daughter who has been lagging behind her family in the move to the UK because of visa delays.
