Sun rose in an orangey sky today. We're promised storms again this afternoon, but all such promises this past week have been disappointments: not a drop! Temps in the 90s, that they get right. And today I heard a prediction of triple digit heat over the weekend. Yesterday Charlie, Vale--my grandperson--and I had lunch at Red Lobster, and though more expensive than I normally choose, we each walked away well fed and well-satisfied.
