Not an entirely quiet night
For at least a week there have been reminders and exhortations in social and other media here in Colorado that fire danger is extraordinarily high and that official fireworks shows were being cancelled, and to please please refrain from setting off private shows--which are illegal to begin with, but that never stops a few die-hard scofflaws.
