And the day after...
The snow is nearly all gone now, after a day of cascades and little off-the-roof avalanches. The lilacs are bowed but unbroken; the maple did lose a couple of limbs, one about 5-6 inches thick, I think. There are broken branches all over town, up and down the block, too. The rest of the week, we have warming temps up to maybe the 80s. Oh, and all my plants look fine, though the peppers and tomato starts appear to have bent under the load.
