This time, no snow on Mother's Day!
My Mother's Day gift is sitting in the front yard. For some time, I have wanted a long little garden box--maybe 8 inches tall, and 6 inches out from the concrete wall of the steps and porch where our front doors are. The base of that structure is about 16 feet long, but we didn't need to fill the whole length. After a nice and tasty brunch we went to the home fixins store and bought a couple of cinder blocks for the ends and a slab of siding, 8 inchs high, 10 feet long for the front. Charlie...
