The last ham
From Thanksgiving through Christmas, my grocery store stocks a certain brand of ham. Now, I am not a big ham lover. I never have loved ham. But this particular one is very tasty. It is sweet with a honey glaze and spicy with cloves, and it is never too salty. There were three left of these spiral cut hams, at $3.99/lb today. They won't be back again until Easter, then will make a brief appearance for a couple of weeks. Perhaps the one I got today will last that long--most of it is already in the...
