I tried something new tonight. I baked some lovely lean loin pork chops in a coating of the very best hummus... Actually, Sabra brand spinach and artichoke hummus. They baked at 325 for about half an hour, and came out moist and delicious! It worked out very well indeed. I recommend it! Sign in to see full entry.
Berry, berry smooth...
I thought I'd share a recipe with you this morning: For breakfast, I tossed some raspberries, black berries, blue berries and strawberries into the blender with some chocolate soy milk (which I bought by accident when I intended to get almond milk) and a handful of Cheerios. No extra sweetener. The Cheerios (which around here we refer to as 'donut seeds') get soft in the milk, so they aren't grainy, but do provide some thickening so it is more like a shake.
