from Thursday night's windstorm through today at 5 PM. Some folks are still huddling over candles to keep warm, or trying to cook the thawing contents of their freezers on the woodstove-- and I could do that, really I could have done that another day or two... But I am packing to leave tomorrow morning for 3 weeks far away, and man, that's no fun to do by candle-light, especially when I was gonna do my laundry Friday.
