The Killing Jar
The lights, at night, drew a storm of life-- moths, of course, of many species, and just about any kind of winged insect... We borrowed the long-handled nets from the biology labs, and swept the frenetic clouds, just to see what we could get. Aiming for any individual creature was pointless-- they moved too fast to see what anything was, and one sweep of the net could not capture just one anything anyway.
