We are back. Things are looking good... or as good as can be expected. We will have to go three more times. I'm not sure anyone has caught it yet, but I have started adding new photos again. There are at least three new ones here. Sign in to see full entry.
And We're Off!
We are off to Valdosta for a wound check and dressing change on my wife's burns. Her WBC (white blood cell) count has remained as close to normal as can be expected with a wound this big, so they may not require her to get an antibiotic IV, so that hopefully will limit this visit to less than 20... Off To Valdosta... Again
This is going to be quick. We have to go to the doctor in Valdosta to get Lisa's bandages changed, and bloodwork done to make sure there is no infection. I see nothing, but ya never know. The pain has subsided considerably, but all she needs to do is move a certain way, and it flares up again. The... Sign in to see full entry.

I spent what little spare time I had yesterday plotting how I am going to launch my novellas on PublishDrive all at the same time. The post below this one in this section kinda lays that out. Now, onto more important things. My wife is doing better and had a good night's sleep, which is making me... Sign in to see full entry.

Beginning To Set Up My Next Book
This is the author bio section of my latest book, "The Porch Light's Still On." About the Author Verwayne Greenhoe is almost 72, but has the romantic heart of a twenty-something. He’s had the incredible luck of being happily married to a strong, wise woman—strong enough to keep him in line. Born and... Sign in to see full entry.
Yesterday... How I wish You Were So far Away
I could go into a long diatribe of yesterday's events, but I do that too often. Here's the short version. Lisa was having a procedure, and in the course of sedating her, she had a bad reaction that caused her to stop breathing. While I worked surgery now and then, we frequently would do... My Morning Ritual is Shortened This Morning.
We have to be out of here about 9:45 in the morning to see the burn specialist in Valdosta. I have no idea if they will continue allow her to be home with me or if she will be admitted. The only reason they didn't admit her was because our family doctor had faith I could and would keep her safe. It... Sign in to see full entry.

Dreaming, I'm Only Dreaming
It's been well over 15 years since I had a dream that woke me up. After tonight, we will start counting the days again. After age 20 or so, every dream means something. I've been up since roughly 3:10 am, and sleep has avoided me since. My wife says that's because has met me before. Of course, she... Sign in to see full entry.

Good morning. In a short bit, we have to head to Valdosta for more bloodwork and an IV treatment. We spent another two, almost three hours at the hospital yesterday to get my wife's burns examined and for her to get another IV of 'broad spectrum' antibiotics to protect her. For those who never got... Sign in to see full entry.

What Were You Cooking? Yourself? That's Not Real Smart!
Good morning. It's already 79 here in the 'armpit' of Florida, but it's a nice day with light winds (for a change). We spent about 90% or more of yesterday at the doctor's office and then at the hospital in Valdosta to do an MRI, multiple X-rays, and several other things for my wife. She had started...
