A short look into my world. I was working on something, and Don McLean's 1971 song, "Vincent," rolled into my music feed. McLean is probably most famous for his 1971 song, "American Pie," and his 1970 song, "And I Love You So," but it is "Vincent" that always moves me. I can barely write my name so... Long drives in exceptionally heavy traffic can wear ya out. It was a four-and-a-half-hour trip down and a five-hour trip back, spread across 24 hours, but it still made me very tired. We may have to go back again at the end of the week, but I'm not sure yet. The bathroom is about a third of the way... Sign in to see full entry.

I'm sorry for not posting this morning. I meant to. I intended to... but I forgot when we got a call from Michigan. That started another chain of events and at 9:30 at night, here I am. In the morning, we are going down to Sebring overnight and we will be back Monday early afternoon. Annicita, I got... Sign in to see full entry.

Good morning. It's a nice day already, and it is looking to hit ~82 this afternoon. After three weeks of waiting and planning, we finally began working on the bathroom. The old (extremely heavy) bathtub is sitting outside. The old sink is right beside it. The walls are stripped to the 2x4s, waiting... Sign in to see full entry.

I had to attend an online *Power User* for ProWritingAid this morning. The meeting was out of London via Zoom. They are breaking out some new ideas and tools, and we were asked for our opinions and feedback on such things. It was pretty interesting. If they give us a link for the replay, I'll post... At the last moment, I decided to fly to Michigan for the services for my friend. The family won't have his body for burial for another week (due to the medical hold the local coroner placed on it), but they had a gathering. I had accumulated some flight miles, so I took advantage of them and caught... Sign in to see full entry.

It's been a weekend. I had unexpected guests Friday morning, and then one of my best friends in Michigan died Saturday morning at the age of 42. They just called me with the autopsy report, and the coroner says it was due to a heart attack directly tied to myocarditis, a full side effect of the... Sign in to see full entry.

Spunky
Well, we found the owner of the dog yesterday afternoon. I didn't post a photo of him because too many people are grabbing dogs to resell. The man who came to claim *Spunky* had a lot of photos of him on his cell, and as soon as the pup saw his owner, he began to dance and shake with joy. It turns... Sign in to see full entry.

Good afternoon. The day got off to an odd start. We had a one- to two-year-old pup show up at our doorstep, obviously lost. After getting it calmed down and fed, it wasted no time curling up on a blanket the wife laid out and took a nap. The animal didn't have a collar on, but I could tell it had... In the "For What It's Worth" department, I've finally shed the last of the migraine I had for the last three days. I had never had migraines before the skull fracture I got in 1981, but I've had them a lot after that. Their frequency and intensity of them have steadily declined in the last fifteen...
