Another beautiful day, the temps hitting a lovely 74 with a steady breeze of about 15 mph or so. Tomorrow is supposed to be slightly cooler and bring a lot of rain, but that's alright. I got a total of 2293 words in for my first day of the NaNo. I always have trouble getting rolling on a story, but... Sign in to see full entry.

A Cold Start
Wow... it got down to 27 here last night. Just two days ago, it was 75 or so. So turn the days of our lives. Allegedly, it will get to 55 or so today. Yippie! Tomorrow, I'll start my 15th NaNoWriMo with full expectations of exceeding my goal. Clean up will go from December to February! LOL I've got... Sign in to see full entry.

Mini Vacation
Yesterday was a beautiful late October day here in mid Michigan. In fact, it was so nice, I did virtually nothing in any of my writing projects, a rare day indeed. It was about 76 or so, really nice when you consider it is a 'balmy' 44 right now. I need days like that now and again and I imagine... Sign in to see full entry.

Critical Eyes
I have a bunch of little things I need to do yet this morning but wanted to say 'thank you' to the folks reading and commenting on my story. Someone (Annicita I think) caught the fact that all of a sudden, this guy was married but I had never mentioned the transition from boy friend/girl friend to... Sign in to see full entry.

Late Nights At The Computer
Sorry about all of the late entries. I had to take care of a bunch of business today that wasn't mine to do, but because I'm the proverbial 'nice guy,' I did it anyway. A day that started with a foggy morning at about 43, saw a steady rain fall about ten in the morning. Naturally, the temps began to... Sign in to see full entry.

Dreaming of Paradise (Michigan That Is!)
I was up until almost two AM last night going through all of those old notebooks. A lot of memories, good and bad there. I've got thirty plus new story ideas perking and now entered into my computer and uploaded to my servers for future use. I'll be moving to my new home in May next year and the way... The 2 PM Soap Opera Starts Here!
In further review of the 'treasure trove' of notebooks I found over the weekend, I found some very interesting things about my childhood that I had forgotten. Bear in mind that this 'diary' thing started when I was six or so. The first dated entry was for October 8th, 1959, but there was at least... Sign in to see full entry.

Astounding History Found - Story At Eleven!
It's been a nice day. We (the grandsons and I) spent some time walking the woods, heard a small flock of turkeys just beyond our paths. No matter how often you see these birds, it is always amazing to watch them move. I think I told you about finding a locker box of old manuscripts, well, I also... Sign in to see full entry.

It Is Finished - Again
A fairly cool day today, but everyone was gone and never being one to waste a quiet day, I added about 6,000 words to "The Totally Unnecessary Death" and have finished it. I have to write to epilogue yet and I have to go through it again, but the story is now complete and I'm quite happy with it.... Sign in to see full entry.

More On The NaNoWriMo
I may have created a lot of interest in the NaNoWriMo (or as most call it, 'NaNo'), but I think I must have created a bunch more questions, which is a good thing I guess. Let me start with the basics as far as they have always been, subject to change for this year. I don't think they have changed,... Sign in to see full entry.
