We were once again the blue dot in the middle of the hurricane path. Three years, three hurricanes, and three dead center hits. Relatively speaking, we got out lightly, but not really. We went out on a 'date' last night and didn't get home until after 1230 am here. We ended up going an hour west of here near Tallahassee and found a nice restaurant that had a dance floor. I know I was supposed to be gone today, but when I looked outside at 6:45 this morning, the fog was extremely thick and heavy. Traffic on I-10 and I-75 are nuts on any day, but there have been too many fog-related accidents this summer, and it wasn't worth dying over. I let the dogs out/in and went... I've been hoping it would stop raining long enough for the grass to dry out so I can mow the yard without having to stop every ten feet to clear the clogged grass.
