It's weird. For a little over 100 days, I 'cried' that I couldn't write. Now I'm crying because my right middle finger and wrist are sore from writing all day. I've been wearing my copper-compression gloves, but still, they hurt. But I'm not sad about it. Over the course of this day, I've managed... Sign in to see full entry.
I've got everything lined up for this new story, including the title, ' Nothing Is As It Appears To Be. ' It will be the third (the second is still in production, but that may become the third and this one will jump into the second position) in my apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic novel series. I'm... I've figured out the story that was rumbling around in my head, keeping me awake. I'm beginning to lay it out in my 'Bone Pile' now. I was looking for a particular Rod Serling quote when I ran across this one. It fits me perfectly. Writing is a demanding profession and a selfish one. And because it... Sign in to see full entry.
For reasons yet unknown to me, I tossed and turned all night. Most times that I do that, there is something I need to do, should have done, or (my personal favorite) a new story line is working itself out in my tiny lil brain. I try not to do this too often, but I may go back and just rest for half... Sign in to see full entry.

If you've been following my 'Caregiver' story, I've finally begun to close in on the details I've been missing. I've managed to 'sketch out' about 12,000 words of short notes that now need to be elongated upon to offer help to those caring for an Alzheimer's or dementia type person. I consider these... Day 79 of the state wide ordered lock-down. I've finished the last of my Amazon food delivery, and now face a bleak reality. I must kill someone. I hate to do it, but things have gotten real bad with this 'virus thing.' I've thought about it long and hard, I guess I must revert to cannibalism. I... Sign in to see full entry.

Six. It is six degrees right now. My 'lucky number' is six, but there is nothing 'lucky' about a temp of six on the first day of Spring. A look forward finds that once I get by the next two days, the temps begin to rise quite exponentially. At least I can hope that is true. I've got numerous... Sign in to see full entry.

Bovine Scat? What's This Idiot talking About?
I was sitting here, wandering through some of my projects in my 'bone pile,' and one suddenly stuck out to me. I had started that story with the idea that it would be the follow-up to my first dystopian story. Then circumstances began to happen faster and faster, and I couldn't maintain the proper... There's an old saying that goes along the line of 'Nothing lasts forever.' The person that said that probably was a Yooper. It was 47 and quite pleasant yesterday. Over night, a steady rain became a steady snow storm. It's 19 with an anticipated high of 24 today, complete with a high and gusting... Sign in to see full entry.

My Hip Hurts
My dogs were antsy about something all night, frequently going into 'alert status' stances. I'm not sure what was up with them, but now that I'm awake, they are all sleeping on my bed. I suspect it was a plot to overthrow me, but those thoughts could stem from a lack of sleep. An older lady went to... Sign in to see full entry.
