Lisa has just been returned to a post surgical room. While still sedated, she smiled when she saw me. Doctors tell me it will take at least 48 hours to see the final results of the laser work. More soon. V Sign in to see full entry.

I have confusing information, but one definitive action that has been set in motion. Even after the biopsy, the type of tumor is not known. Yeah, that bothers me, but I am in full agreement with the action being taken. A surgery to remove the tumor by laser has been scheduled for 8 AM Friday. There... Sign in to see full entry.
I am heading back to Marquette shortly, but thought I'd update you as much as I can at this point. Although they still haven't got a diagnosis, Lisa is doing alright. They have eased up on her sedation level. Her aunt called me a bit ago to tell me that she had gotten up to walk down the hall a... Sign in to see full entry.

Another Update
Whew, I have come home for a rest. Lisa's family has driven up here from Lansing, roughly a 500 mile trip, and they will with her for a day or two. I will go back tomorrow, but I have things that I must get done. I have a signed contract to be out of here by October 25th, and that date is coming far... Sign in to see full entry.
They did a biopsy this morning. All seemed to go as planned. Lisa is lightly sedated, but is aware that I am here. I asked and was given permission by the surgeon to lay next to her. I want her to know that I am there, and that I will always be there. A couple of the nurses are not thrilled about... Sign in to see full entry.

They just told me that they will do a biopsy at 6:30 tomorrow morning. Then they will have a better idea of what they are dealing with. More when I get it. Thank you. V Sign in to see full entry.
Update
Alright. This will not be easy for me to write. If you read any of Lisa's posts, I think she mentioned several times that she was having 'headaches.' Thirty-six hours ago, she also began to have visual, olfactory, and sensory issues, causing me to take her to the local ER. She was there for about... Sign in to see full entry.

Good morning... oops, afternoon. I was asked back in late June to resume my old job of writing the results from the race track I worked at for over thirty-two years when the young man that had been doing them developed a form of brain cancer. He has been getting treatment and has had five different... Sign in to see full entry.

One night at the local fancy restaurant we visited while on our two-day honeymoon replay, I ordered a glass of wine. Oddly enough, the waiter asked for my ID. I was rather shocked and asked him, "Do I look that young?" The young man smiled, shook his head, and told me, "No sir, I just wanted to see... Sign in to see full entry.

Lessons to be learned. I can't let this day slip by without posting this. Today would have been my father's 99th birthday. I'm not mourning his sudden passing back in June of 1994. While I wish it had lasted just a few years more, Dad lived a great life. He worked hard, guided his family through... Sign in to see full entry.
