Worst Monarch ever

Who is/was the worst Monarch ever? Was it Solomon who spent years and an enormous amount of resources on building a temple for the Most High and then ran after his many wives minor gods anyway? Was it Marie-Antoinette who spent everything on pleasure right from the start? Was it Hitler who idolized... Sign in to see full entry.

Days of our Lives

Who decided which day should be the first and which the last? Some take the Sun's day (Sunday) as the first making Saturn's day (Saturday) the last. Some take the Moon's day (Monday) as the first and the Sun's day as the last. Why don't we make Wodin's day (Wednesday) the first and Tiw's day... Sign in to see full entry.

Thoughts of Vilayanur Ramachandran

These are just some musings on the thoughts of Vilayanur Ramachandran. I’m not trying to debunk his views. I’m just drawing some conclusions, making some remarks while playing with his views and stumbling into a bit of humor now and then. He seems intelligent and well schooled and perhaps even open... They all have my split chin and probably some of my personality traits as well. I'm sure if I wanted to drive anybody... Sign in to see full entry.

The Doors of Separation

In Hypnerotomachia Poliphili, the dreamer is lead to choose between three doors. The first door leads to the Glory of God, the second to the Glory of the World and the third to the Mother of Love. I think it is a pity that the dreamer was misled by reason and desire. He never saw the ladder of... Sign in to see full entry.

Words

Words are tools that arise in a context and are applicable in a context. Argument are always bound to context including time and cultural setting amongst other contextualizing factors. This makes it easy to always find arguments and counterarguments in the political and other arenas. As long as we... Sign in to see full entry.

The Power is Yours

Every decision we make is filled with and powered by the whole universe. God is always in control of everything and you are inextricably always part of God, even if you do not realize that. Sign in to see full entry.

What to do with a shovel

When you have a shovel in hand you have many choices. One of them being to work the soil and plant a tree. Another is to keep on hitting people over the head with it until they die or kill you. A third option is to "put it down" and get nothing done. Political, Economical and Religious systems can... Sign in to see full entry.
