THE SPREAD OF DANDELIONS

A tiny parachute begets a yellow flower, overnight trans- mogrifies into a weird unstable structure that with almost no encouragement comes apart, dispursing airy windblown cluster parachutes to places they're not wanted, and thrust their gnarled and woody root deep down in.
