I went to my women with disabilities group today and it felt really good to be Martina the person instead of Martina the candidate. I to need to play more, excercise more, get more money skills, and learn to manage stress for starters. I also need to eat better, although I'm working on it more and... Sign in to see full entry.

On the Campaign Trail...
I've got an interview with the Lowell Sun, a local paper, this week and tomorrow I'm going to call all of the Independent Living Centers and ask to talk to them. All disabled people should be voting. All disabled people in Massachusetts should be voting Green-Rainbow and not just because I'm... Sign in to see full entry.

In Boston...
I spent the afternoon at the Zola Center (nmed after Irving K. Zola, a famous disability sudies academic), a non-profit disability rights Center in Boston, doing the whole Lt. Governor candidate thing and being with disabled people (my favorite activity). I woke up at six AM and caught the bus at... Sign in to see full entry.

Today...
I had a mini-meltdown today because somebody called me an anti-Semite; this dude named Eric Denis who lives in Israel and thinks that everyone in the Green Party hates Jewish people or at least Israeli Jews. He doesn't know about Danna, the Jewish child of Holocaust survivors’ part of me still wants... Sign in to see full entry.

Today...
I went to the doctors today. It was an easy test, but it hurt when she pushed on my liver. My liver looked looked wierd on the screen. Tomorrow more doctors; more fasting. That's really hard on me. I break the rules a little bit of my meds in the morning and at night, but the doctor told me that was... Sign in to see full entry.

Happy Primary Day!
I went to help Owen on Primary Day; only two other Green folks came and no media, even though he called a press conference but Stella held a sign. I so proud of her for being so interested in politics and activism. I hope she's doing it for herself and not because it's what I'm doing. I don't... Sign in to see full entry.

Back in Action with this Blog!
I'm back to this blog, after missing lots of days, because of computer errors and other things. Better luck in October for me. I went to a poetry reading group tonight. We read Dean Young; he's a little wierd for me. I'm joining a writing group on Wednesday mornings. I might also enter a short story... Sign in to see full entry.

Today...
I just wrote my first Lutentinent Governor speech; I have a press conference tomorrow. It's nearly midnight. I'm so sleepy, but I'm mostly packed. I can't believe I'm wearing a dress on a train for nine hours tomorrow. I think I'll sleep for abourt 5.5 hours tonight and sleep on the train for a... Sign in to see full entry.

Am I Crazy?
I am running for Lutentinent Governor of Massachusetts on the Green Party ticket. I have to wait all day tomorrow for people to come by and bring me lots of forms for signing. My mom is freaking, as per usual, when I do something she doesn't like, which I just can't help doing if I want to be true... Sign in to see full entry.

Novel... the last post
Hi, I finished the novel so I'm hanging with Richard and watching TV. I think the novel will be to short to win, but I'm still happy with it and will keep working on weather they like it or no. I finished something. I finished something! That's my biggest writing hurdle. I am so proud of myself just... Sign in to see full entry.
