Blizzard Arrived

It's started. The big snow. I'm cleaning my desk entirely off tomorrow. I talked to Alito for a minute today. That was nice; I still really admire him even if he is a total taskmaster. Today...

Richard is overnight at the vet's office. He's got the kitty flu and he threw up all over my bed last night. I went to a poetry reading. I read three poems; I think people understood me. The Convention

I slept late and had a conference call about the Green-Rainbow Party Convention, Mureen and I are somehow in charge of it, which is scary in general. We didn't volunteer to run it ourselves. Teaching, Dancing, and Job Searches...

I had a day good teaching and speaking. No one bought my 'zine yet. I emailed all my Danceability collegues and told them about it. Many one of them will buy a copy. I got rejected from another job. Good and Bad Day!

Yoshiko Dart sent me $20 and an awesome plaque. I'm going to buy a frame and put it up in my house along with the cancelled check and the envelope. I have decided that I can't afford to go to Boskone (a science fiction convention), unless a miracle happens every year in Boston which was going to to in a week. I'm home. Paratransit made me miss another bus. I left Richard at boarding for another night. I'll get him back tomorrow. I kicked butt at the job fair and I think I have some good options. My flu is mostly over, I think. I haven't puked in over 16 hours. I kept down a mug of soup and one half a chef salad and some flat Coke so far today.
