Southern Wyoming--did you know it looks like this?
Open grasslands rolling along, divided by miles upon miles of zig-zag split rail fences, and with the layers of Earth's long history revealed layer upon layer! These layers formed in ancient inland seas... but these mountains that thrust up to the west are some of the Earth's very oldest rocks...

Storm Clouds Over Colorado

Utah dawn
The day after Bryce, we made the rest of the drive across the center of Utah by I-70... I have said it before: they could sell tickets to this highway, from where it connects with Utah 15, all the way to Denver!
