I Gave It a Try
I worked my first and last day of Geripsych. I am on disability for a reason. It was a day of dead weight lifting and diaper changing and avoiding kicks to the head and no breaks except for 30 minute lunch for 8 hours. Although in my younger days, I tackled this type of nursing without a problem, I am not physically able to do it anymore.
