My Mom mailed in her 1040a for the stimulus funds and received a letter she would receive it within the next 6 weeks. Two days later she gets a letter that she owes 338.00 in taxes, with interest and penalties. So today I had to call the IRS and get it all sorted out. She hasn't had to pay taxes for years.
