Egypt XII

Jan 14 th I have a dizzy spell. I was having them off and on before I came to Egypt. This is the first time Ahmad sees me having one. My eyes roll in different directions. He freaks out. Jan 13 th It’s laundry day. We have an old fashioned ringer washer in the flat. And by ringer I mean us. The machine agitates and washes. Jan 12 th It’s a beautiful day today. Once again it is not windy. There are barely any ripples on the sea. Lots of horns honking. I notice there are not a lot of birds even in calm weather. Jan 11 th We walk along the beach again. This time we climb down the rocks to take better pictures of the waves crashing against the rocks. There are many men fishing but not one woman or young girl. I don't like watching the news and today was no exception. However visiting with my mom usually entails lots of watching the weather channel as well as the news. I was sickened by what I heard. You can use your cell phone but conversations must be low. No cell phone conversations at the desk where you can make in queries. Most of the staff is bilingual.
