I love this quote from Winston Churchill. Writing a book is an adventure. To begin with, it is a toy and an amusement; then it becomes a mistress, and then it becomes a master, and then a tyrant. The last phase is that just as you are about to be reconciled to your servitude, you kill the monster,... Sign in to see full entry.

Yes, this was when I saw Saturday Night Live being broadcasted there. I was walking to meet my friends at a bar called Toulouse Lautrec. There was... Sign in to see full entry.

Somerset Maugham I think it is more apt to say: People forget the good you have done them, but remember any little slight you have done them intentional or not. A. Rodriguez or People forget the good... Sign in to see full entry.

Yesterday was my cheat day - no exercise and yummier food. Today I started off with a 55 minute power walk. I am heading to the beach and will be there for a while unless it starts to rain. I have lived here over a year now and have not been to the beach yet. I think it's about time to go. Hopefully... Sign in to see full entry.
