Wasting Away

Sitting with my hands folded In the darkness of the night, Here in this room. Letting the darkness enclose my thoughts, Thinking about how life has passed me by... I should be outside SINGING! LISTENING to children’s laughter! WATCHING! The sky, the sun, the moon, the stars! But, I’m just sitting here, in darkness Letting time pass me by Thinking about life.
