Wasting away
I am so sad to helplessly think of how people while their time away without much done. This poem is a beautiful but painful reminder. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with the other sentiments here..But, through your work I can see a strong woman emerging from within..Take pride in this..I was told once that "G-d will only though stuff at you if he knows you can handle it.." I know I didn't like it when it was said to me..But now having gone through similar trials..I can say that I agree..Take care..You are doing great!

Life teaches great things through sadness and mournful introspection coupled with a never-say-die attitude in no time sends you flying to the skies. Without the Slough of Despond, therefore, life cannot become rich. Know that you write well and are sensitive. Good!

The introspection that you've done is probably worth more than all the 'doing' you missed. Life passing you by is just an old materialistic saying. What people are doing out there is not having 'life' but a rat-race!

What a waste!
In a world where there is still so much they can do! Well done my dear; thank you for this and for stopping by, much appreciated

I am not going to assume this is about you .... I know that
a lot of what I write is either 20 years old or observations of someone I've known... having said that, if it is, get out now!  I was like the person in this poem for too long - life waits for no one and has absolutely no pity on anyone.  Make your mark, fall in love, ride a rollercoaster, eat a waffle cone with too much ice cream, walk on the beach, whatever it takes.  I LOVE this poem.

It is a poignant two-fold message. From young to old, a wasted life is a pity!  sam
