It was a good garden day!

I got out yesterday in the backyard and had some fun in my backyard garden. It was time to spread out two of my ready compost piles and put plants in them. That is always such a joy for me. My garden looks great

Even though it is getting on in the year my garden is still doing great. With the onset of cooler weather my garden has made somewhat of a comeback. I can't grow lettuce.

I am frustrated. I can’t grow lettuce. I have to be doing something wrong. All my other vegetables are doing fine. I have tomatoes that are doing great. My clover seeds are already coming up

My clover seeds I threw out on Monday are already beginning to come up. I guess I should say the clover seeds I “sowed”. We gardeners don’t throw out or plant; we sow! I have to mow grass in my back yard today. I let a professional cut the front yard to make it look great. He also rakes, edges, and do many other things that I am not going to do.
