Troop Reductions in Iraq

The top U.S. commander in Iraq says plans call for reducing the number of U.S. forces there. This is exactly how the headline on MSNBC reads. This is good news for everyone. Or at least it should be good news for everyone. I did not go into the article at all. I am going to be interested to read and... Sign in to see full entry.

Just do like we did!

There are many spirited discussions on blogs and such these days. It seems the liberals just hate our President. I don’t pass too much judgment on the guy, but he seems to be doing what he thinks is right. So I really don’t worry about that issue very much. The issues that raise everyone’s “Irish”... How come our media doesn’t report this?

“The Department of Justice believes, and the case law supports, that the president has inherent authority to conduct warrantless physical searches for foreign intelligence purposes and that the President may, as has been done, delegate this authority to the Attorney General. It is important to... Sign in to see full entry.

How disingenuous are the Democrats; Republicans may be worse

The New York Times, with it’s avowed hatred for George Bush, wants us to believe our government is “spying” on us. We are getting all of our information on this “spying” program from them. Now we all know they are a bastion of truthfulness don’t we? Oh, how fast we forget their Jayson Blair’s! Then... Sign in to see full entry.

President is still fuming about leak

And this is not the leak from the White House on the Valerie Plame affair. This is the leak by someone in our government to the New York Times about “spying” on Americans. I don’t think I blame the guy. This may be aiding and abetting the enemy in the best way possible. Someone hates America. Or... Sign in to see full entry.

Are they sub-animal or what?

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has had a very minor stroke we have learned. In the Middle East the Palestinians are celebrating. Are they sick and sub-animal or what? Do we all now know just how sick these idiots are? I hope the next time the Palestinians decide to get out of line the Israeli’s... Sign in to see full entry.

Yes, they are very dangerous

Michael J. Woods, who was chief of the FBI's national security law unit when Bush signed the NSA directive, described the ongoing program as "very dangerous." This is a quote from a Washington Post article I read on MSN about the NSA spying on Americans. Dangerous is the right word in more ways than... Sign in to see full entry.

Our big media and some lawmakers are rotten (and un-American)

The story that broke about the NSA “spying” on Americans was a bunch of hogwash by our big media and the lawmakers that let them in on this. The intercepts were between people here and overseas. The government is not spying on our conversations with Aunt Mildred in Des Moines. While I would prefer... Sign in to see full entry.

It’s up to them now

The Iraqi’s have had their election. Our president has wanted this for some time now. We all know it’s a great thing. But now........the Iraqi politicians and the people in general have to come together and form a government and begin to work together to run their country. This will be the real... Iraqi’s Vote

In what will be a major step toward governing themselves, Iraqi’s are going to the polls. Note I did not mention democracy. Even though they are voting no telling what kind of government might emerge from the election. At any rate, the Iraqi’s are getting a chance for the first time ever to... Sign in to see full entry.
