Yes, I saw that blagging.
That is a good sign. I am sure there are many good Palestinians who want to coexist with Israel. There are just some who won't ever think they should exist. It's like that with all cultures in some form or another.

I still agree, but...
the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has sent his best wishes to Sharon. So the official Palestinian stance is not to celebrate in the streets. Albeit, the scum who are celebrating in the streets are definitely sub-animal. But I have stopped being surprised by some of the things I have seen done by the Palestinians (I could go on if you want to e shocked), but seeing as I have many friends living in Israel I'd rather not think about it.

Thanks for the comment blagging!
I thought about it for a bit before I added the words sub-animal to the post. If a group of people celebrate when someone has a medical emergency, albeit even minor, they are a pretty sorry lot. I don't see how anyone can support the Palestinian stance in this.

I agree

Israeli politics is a very complicated matter and many people have got into hot water by commenting on it, so I would hesitate before calling 'all' Palestinians sub-animal. Having said that, I have seen some despicable things in the Palestinian territories. I was living in Israel over September 11th, and saw Palestinians in the West Bank dancing and celebrating in the streets. These people are sick, and it is the mentality of the next generation that needs to be changed if peace is ever going to be achieved.

The death of Yasser Arafat was handled with dignity and poise by the Israelis, but if Palestinian children are being taught to celebrate when someone has a stroke, minor or not, then I am holding out little hope.
