Fascism: Fear-Based Control in a Christian-Majority Nation?

Fascism. Some define it as institutionalized violence. Some define it as a philosophy of disempowerment based on fear. That second definition is one that is similar to mine. I see fascism as control through fear. Dr. Lawrence Britt, a political scientist, identified 14 characteristics of fascism based on his examination of the regimes of Hitler, Mussolini, Franco, Suharto and Pinochet.
