Jesus Wasn't Mithra. He Was Horus
Westwend or Gomedome mentioned that there were several ancient Gods that had stories very similar to the stories of Jesus in the Bible. In doing research, I found several. One of the closest parallels is the birth stories of Jesus and Horus, an Egyptian God from several centuries prior to Christ.
