We Can't Love God First
There are two verses of Matthew that some have read to mean that there is a specific order that must be followed of those that one loves. Matthew 22:37 (KJV) says, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." Matthew 22:38 follows with "This is the first and great commandment."
