Nature over Nurture (or both, or neither)
Can you take the pain of youth away from one who grows up to be a killer? Can you take the fear and distrust away from a woman who grew up in an abusive household? In psychology there's a theory of mental growth which they refer to as "nature over nurture". The questions I asked in the beginning are questions that would've been asked when it is too late to help the individual: their nurturer and/or environment destroyed many of their chances in life.
