The Circus People

I just got home from work. It took 1 hour 45 minutes, which is actually longer than normal. I mopped everything, which I don't do every night. A carnival is setting up right across the street from the offices I clean in 2 parking lots. I remember when I was a kid they set up in the same exact parking lot. Probably a different carnival now. Swimming

My daughter, Susannah and I went to the Athletic Club. We joined it in November, because we knew it would be a lot healthier for us to swim,... when the weather was cold. Greg says we can't keep our membership if we don't start going more. If we all go 1 time a week, it pays for itself. It helps me a lot, but I need to be more discipline. Anyway, my back feels much better. I did not want to go, but did. I swam 2 laps and did the hot tub w/ jets and then the sauna. I really admire people who can... Sign in to see full entry.

Margarita

Today we got a phone call from my daughter in Mexico. She called to tell us that Carmen's mom, Margarita, died. Carmen lives in the village in Sonora where we had been living the last 7 years. Carmen owns a little store in our village. Her teenage son and mom lived with her. Her mom, Margarita was around 70 years old. She could have been 80 though. Sunny day

About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
